NORTHERN TRUST SUBMITS PLANS FOR REDEVELOPMENT OF FORMER HOLIDAY CENTRE, WALL PARK ROAD, BRIXHAM.

Northern Trust has confirmed that they have submitted the planning application for the redevelopment of the former holiday centre located on Wall Park Road, Brixham.

The application is for up to 231 new family homes in a variety of house styles, a 60 bed care home, 14 tourist lodges alongside the continuation of the touring caravan use on Centry Road and will set aside in excess of 50% of the overall site to provide biodiversity and landscape enhancements to the Berry Head Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

The application follows extensive consultation with the local community, local authority and key business leaders.  The plans have been subject to extensive discussions with Torbay Council and key stakeholders including Natural England.
