Northern Trust has been working with the local community to develop the plans since October 2012. Throughout the consultation process the site’s regeneration has enjoyed over 90% support from participants.
A spokesperson for Northern Trust said “We are delighted that our plans for the site are now with Telford & Wrekin Council for consideration. We have spent over a year working with the local community and we are confident that this is the right plan for the site. The scheme will not only provide Allscott with new community services but also deliver some of the much needed homes that Telford requires.”
It is expected that a decision will be made on the outline planning application in Spring 2014.
